Driving Hackathon Registrations from Spark Developers
Client:
StreamAnalytix
Challenge:
StreamAnalytix aimed to launch an online contest inviting Spark developers to build real-time machine learning and stream processing applications on their self-service streaming analytics platform.
The challenge was to create a digital campaign that would generate awareness within the Spark community, attract relevant traffic, and encourage participation—ultimately driving at least 300 registrations and 10 quality submissions from experienced Spark developers.

How I helped
To maximize reach and participation, I developed a multi-channel digital strategy with distinct objectives for brand recognition and conversion.
✔ A mix of paid and organic channels to ensure widespread awareness and engagement
✔ Targeted outreach on contest promotion sites, Spark community platforms, and social media
✔ Email campaigns, third-party promotions, and Meetup collaborations to reach relevant developers
✔ SEO, Google Ads, PR, and content marketing to sustain visibility throughout the contest period
By strategically leveraging these 15+ channels, I ensured strong engagement from Spark professionals, students, and enterprises—leading to high-quality participation.
